Tabitha Stonehedge has a problem.

She sees things. Things that no one else does. In a city full of ghosts like Richmond, people are used to hauntings, but this is different. The creatures she sees aren’t someone’s dead memaw clanking in the kitchen at midnight on a full moon. They are smart, and fast, and don’t look like any other critter she’s ever seen.

And the way they sound…

She’s not sure what to do except record it every time it happens. Every time she sees one. Her journal is keeping her sane. For now.
